The Youth Council focuses attention on the formation of mature, responsible and zealous youth. Mother Teresa D’Lima has left a legacy in her concern for youth. The measures she adopted in protecting youth from vice, through prayer, devotions and physical activities is the spring-board for the Youth Council in creating its agenda for students. Mary McLeod Bethune opines: “We have a powerful potential in our youth and we must have the courage to change old ideas and practices so that, we may direct their power towards good ends.”
The Youth Council spear-headed by Ms.Maxine Garnett and her deputy Mrs.Jasline deploy methods that accentuates student participation in creative activities and gives them chances to grow with healthy beliefs and ideas. The council has 42 members.
The council exploits every opportunity to create consciousness about the blessings of being in the school, having a good family and a secure growing environment as opposed to those unfortunate youth steeped in illiteracy, poverty and vice, exploited and abused. The council constantly emphasises on the role of youth for change.
Children’s day celebration is arranged by the council. The celebration is intended to rouse children’s sentiments for charity and generosity while entertaining themselves. The programmes by the staff keep the children wonderstruck and also laugh without end.

With Mother Teresa D’Lima as their exemplary role model, the Youth Council makes headway to establish strong solid youth unfazed by obstacles, to become the flag bearers of brotherhood and peace.
